Essence of a Mother

Since the creation of the world man and woman created. Woman should bear a child in order to multiply human beings. Woman has a big role for the fulfillment of God’s paradise. A mother carries the baby in her womb for nine long months. Imagine the discomfort of all the mothers!. She cannot move around as much as she wants. she has to give up a lot of things for the sake of the baby. She cannot eat her favorite foods in order to follow her diet list for the normal development of the fetus inside her womb and she cannot wear her favorite dresses, because as 9 months approaching the belly gets pumping its bigger and bigger.

A mother undergoes ambivalence emotions and the most sacrifices that a mother could do is the pain of giving birth. Whether she gives birth in hospital with the help of OB – Gyne, nurses, or simply giving birth at home with the help of a midwife, or significant others, she has to be ready physically, emotionally, spiritually and be strong to endure the pain.

A mother takes care of her growing children. She is the only one who prepares good and nutritious food, without spending beyond her means. She carefully bathes her children and make sure that their clothes are clean and well – pressed. She protects her children from harmful chemicals and elements so that they will never get sick.

A mother teaches her children. She is the first to teach them about God, values and prepare them for their First Holy Communion. She reprimand them when they do wrong and praises them when they do good. She brings them to school and carefully guides them in their studies. She also prepare the basic things that usually needed in school. A mother is all these and much more. That is why mother is indispensable!

Every day we are challenged to instill more deeply in our hearts and minds the perfect value of family, and to fulfill our tasks and responsibilities at home as obedient and loving children. We are happy to do this in gratitude to our parents, and to the ones who invested mothers!
