Exhibition and Arts and Crafts Fair of Armenian Prisoners Held in Yerevan
Exhibition and arts and crafts fair prisoners penal institutions in Armenia will open on five July, has informed agency "News-Armenia" press secretary of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic Karine Kalantarian.
Exhibition and arts and crafts fair prisoners penal institutions in Armenia will open on 5 July, has informed agency “News-Armenia” press secretary of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic Karine Kalantarian.
“Among the exhibits one-day exhibition on the Constitution Day – carpets, paintings, pottery, hand made by prisoners,” – she said.
At the opening event, which will be held on the initiative of “Assistance to prisoners” will be attended by Minister of Justice of the Republic Hrayr Tovmasyan, other senior officials.
The Constitution of Armenia adopted by referendum on July 5, 1995. In November 2005, the country’s basic law was amended to provide for inter alia, the transfer of the powers of the president of the republic to other state agencies. Amended, was increased role of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Armenia
