Father’s Day

The third sunday on June is celebrated in most countries as: Father’s Day. Fathers Day, the one day that most people spend quality time with their dad. This thought of having a day set aside for dads came during the early 1900’s. It had a hard time gaining popularity because often times many people riduculed the idea where Mothers Day was widely accepted easily. During the 1930s people began to accept this concept and groups started to work towards making Fathers Day a national holiday, it eventually became a national holiday and is celebrated throughout the world.
During Father’s Day families get to spend quality time together and appreciate dads for what they have done. Many spend the day at home in peace and quit while others have parties to celebrate their dad. Whatever they may do it is to show how much they care about their dad.
