Father’s Day Tie Given in New Way Will Delight Dad on His Special Day
Try this new twist on the traditional Father’s Day gift.
In all probability Dad doesn’t need another tie, but that is the go-to gift for Father’s Day and a multitude of Dads will be ’surprised’ with another tie on Father’s Day. Use this fun new way to give Dad a tie for Father’s Day along with a real surprise present. Here’s how.
Choose a small present for Dad, wrap it up in a solid color of wrapping paper, then tie a new neck tie on the outside of the present as the bow. This works beautifully with a present that is about the size of a book.
For larger presents or if a tie is the only present, wrap present in solid color wrapping paper, then chose color coordinating ribbon in a men’s wear pattern, wrap around the present and tie in a Windsor knot. Snip the ends of the ribbon into a point or cut at an angle. If paper ribbon is not available in desired pattern, look for fabric ribbon in the sewing notion or craft section of the store.
