Funny Birthday Greeting Ideas
A Notch Above the Usual “Happy Birthday”.
When writing in a card, something that you most definitely want to do is to make the inscription memorable. On Facebook, you may be writing a birthday greeting on friend’s wall only to notice that everyone has written the same thing as you. Below are some humourous ways to make birthday greetings both memorable, original, and perhaps even rude.
For Everyone
“Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.” ~Larry Lorenzoni
“Happy birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
You look like a monkey and smell like one too!”
“I would tell you that you’re improving with age, but that would be a lie…. I mean, after all, how do you improve upon perfection?”
For Women
“I hope you will have great prosperity and happiness on this day. A wish: May your husband be the father of your children”
“Best wishes to beautiful and funny birthday girl.
Thank god you act like a mad cow or you’d be too perfect!”
For Those with the Balding Heads:
“Time may be a great healer, but it’s a lousy beautician.”
“You’re not 40, you’re eighteen with 22 years experience.”
“Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.” ~Chili Davis
“Guess what it is that you are getting on your Birthday?
……..
OLDER!
PS. Sorry, forgot the wiser bit, ahem!”
“Don’t be ashamed about your age! Laugh about it: everyone else does!”
Because everyone needs some birthday wisdom:
“Have fun but watch the pina coladas.”
“Don’t lie about your age or your nose will get too big. Oops! Too late!”

Happy Birthday!

This really breaks the birthday greeting monotony. Here’s my greeting on your birthday– “I’m glad there’s
something new in your life… a new age. Happy birthday!” I like this one.

Very nice… do you have any pointers on things to write on a leaving card? By the time they get to me in the office about fifty people have signed already, and it\’s hard not to repeat!

Really funny. Great job. Nice ideas when a person is stuck in the Ol’ rut of creative writing gone dry.

Some good ideas. I always make jokes in cards, get mixed reactions though.
