Gifts, Great & Small

Time is waning for your last minute holiday purchases, but in case you haven’t come up with any good ideas, here are a few suggestions for gifts, great and small, whether you are the fortunate rich, the aspiring poor or somewhere in between.  If your rich, why not surprise her with a well needed vacation.  You could wrap up the trip choices in a beautiful box and have her pick the place.  If you’re the aspiring poor or somewhere in between, why not surprise her with a trip to the casinos, most offer bonus shows and dinner when combined with an overnight stay.  Then again, there’s body sculpting for her if your one of the rich and if your not, there’s a manicure or pedicure gift certificate out there, too.  You got money, get her a full body massage at her favorite spa and if you don’t, then get her just a facial at a local spa.   Got money?  Give her a night out in the big apple, complete with dinner and a show.  Limited funds?  Give her a night out in Philadelphia, complete with dinner and a movie at the Ritz.  Christmas is not just about giving presents, it’s about getting the other person, something they normally wouldn’t splurge on themselves.  Keep that in mind when you’re out looking for that perfect gift and remember whether you’re rich or poor or somewhere in between, the message of Christmas is about sharing our love, time and treasure with those to whom we have sometimes been so mean.  Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and a prosperous New Year!!!!
