God’s Stores are Open on New Year’s Day 2011

God’s stores are open 24/7.

Many are wondering which stores will be open on New Year’s day 2011. What about Target? What about Walmart or Best Buy? What about Sears or Old Navy? Some stores close for the holiday. Other stores close because of crime. Jesus’ store is always open – yes 24/7.

(1)   One-stop shops

Philippians 4:19  says “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Matt. 7:7  adds “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

Yes, check God’s stores out during the week, anytime, even on holidays and holy days!

(2)   Shops that caters for all races.

Acts 10:34, 35 “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”

(3)   BestBuy – Great deals

This is the trade. Accept Jesus. He was killed so that we could have life.  Give Jesus your sins and your worries and Jesus will give you salvation and the opportunity of living forever. You will also live in a posh, gated community in Heaven for one thousand years. Rev. 3:18 says “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” That gold represents faith and love. Have no fear of the trade. In Matt. 11:30 Jesus says “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” There is no other God like our God. There is no God beside Him.

(4)   Target – especially suited to you

God has the spiritual clothes especially for you. Isa 61:10 says “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.” You never need feel naked again.

(5)   Old Navy – equips us for spiritual warfare

Accept what Jesus did at Calvary and become one of the cavalry – a foot soldier for Jesus. You go out on the field and spread the message about the captain of our salvation as Heb. 2:10 calls Him. Yes be part of that navy of old that from the beginning of time.

Eph 6:11 says “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Yes, have truth around your waist like a belt. Have on the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and put on the shoes of evangelism. Take also the walkie-talkie of prayer.

Well, are you ready to go to God’s store? You need spiritual money. Jesus even says that He will help you with the money! Imagine a storekeeper who says that He will help you with the money. You do not need dollars in God’s store. All you need is change! Indeed, Jesus will help you with change. Make sure that accepting Jesus is on your 2011 calendar from day 1.

Here is a verse that also shows the money is not needed:
Isaiah 55:1 (New International Version, ©2010)

1 “Come, all you who are thirsty,
    come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
    come, buy and eat!
    Come, buy wine and milk
    without money and without cost.
