Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer
One of the more popular Christmas novelty songs.

Christmas is a time for spreading cheer and goodwill toward all-you know peace on earth goodwill to all-that sort of stuff. And a lot of that cheer can be spread with some holiday musical favorites.
Ah, holiday music. We all have our favorites whether we’re dreaming of a White Christmas or thinking about chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Bing, Frank, Dean, Perry, Nat, Brenda Lee, Gene, Ella and Elmo and Patsy
Elmo and Patsy, who?
If you grew up listening to Dr. Demento, then you probably have already heard any number of famous Christmas novelty songs, from “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth” and that classic of classics, “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.”
But “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer?” Believe it or not, this 1979 song has become one of the more popular holiday songs.
But don’t take my word for it. Listen and enjoy.
Move aside Bing and Frank.
Here is another classic Holiday song that everyone will be singing around the Christmas tree for years to come.

A very cute and significant post about the meaning of Christmas. I love the song Grandma got run over by a reindeer. Rudolph the red nosed reindeer is another classic. I also like up on the housetop reindeer pops, out comes good old santa claus.
