Hallmark Channel Open House
Hallmark Channel hosts holiday open house with movies on weekends.
Hallmark Channel is known for the wonderful family oriented movies that they show each week and they are known for their 25 days till Christmas where the station shows only Christmas shows the days leading to Christmas. This weekend they are hosting a Holiday Open House where they are showing Christmas movies all weekend.
The Holiday Open House will continue up until the Christmas Countdown of the 25 days of Christmas begins. This is a great idea for those of us who enjoy the holiday movies and might want to begin just a little earlier than others in celebrating the holiday season. I am one of those crazy people who listen to Christmas music in the middle of the summer and I enjoy the Christmas movies.
Today they have shown Debbie Macombers’ “Call Me Mrs. Miracle” , “The Most Wonderful Time of The Year”, and now I am watching a new movie titled, ” Love’s Christmas Journey” with Natalie Hall and Greg Vaughan. This is a mini series about a man who embarks on a journey to find his aunt’s missing brother. Resembling an old wild western town this could be considered a western style movie and will be enjoyed by many.
Tomorrow, viewers will see movies like ” A Walton’s Thanksgiving”, “Gift of the Magi”, “A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion”, and another premiere of the movie “Mistletoe Over Manhattan”. “Mistletoe Over Manhattan” has a superb cast with Tricia Helfer, Greg Bryk, and Tedde Moore, this movie is sure to be a holiday favorite as the wife of Santa helps a divorcing couple rediscover their love. Movies like this make the holiday seem even better and more full of love than ever before.
“Gift of the Magi” is a story of a young newlywed couple who bother make great sacrifices in order to buy their new spouse the gift that they want. In the end, they both end up with gifts that go along with the items that they sacrificed to buy the gifts. It is a touching, heartwarming story that shows just how much love you can have for one person and the lengths that you will go to in order to prove your love.
The holidays remind us of the love we should have for one another and it reminds us of the true spirit that we should have at this time of the year. It is important to remember that many of us do not share the love like we should to the rest of the world. Christmas truly is a time of love and the spirit that should come along with it. Enjoy the Christmas open house and find a new family favorite movie.
