Halloween: A Belief or a Holiday?

I’ve always wondered why we dress up as the scariest things we can find for halloween. Don’t get me wrong, I love Halloween myself, but the images of undead monsters and killers is kinda weird. In Mexico the people have a day of the dead. Is that what our is or is it evil. I talked to my Catholic friend on this matter and he said this was Santans birthday. The people who dress up for Halloween are worshiping the devil or so he claimed. What he siad kind of made sense though. We have ofton read about people getting killed on Halloween by unseen things. I did a little reasearch on this matter and came up with alot of stories. On inparticularly caught my attention. The story goes that on Halloween a group of Santanic believers in New Jersy kidnapped a girl. The took her to an old Colonial tower next to a high way, about half a mile from the nearest community. Anyway Supposently The Satanics disembered her and ate her alive. The nieghbors in the community called nine one one, but it was to late. The police had a crime scence on their hands. Blood dripped from the walls, oozing into the cracks into the floor. There was no body however. From then one the tower was called Devils Tower. Now it’s time for you to decide: is Halloween really just a holiday.
