These are such cool songs. I love this kind of stuff. There’s another neat song I discovered called It’s A Hip Hop Halloween Night. It’s not a video, just a song.
It kind of reminds me of an undated Monster Mash (even though it’s impossible to update a classic like that!).
    Here’s where I found it: http://www.worldstagemusic.net/halloween

There are a lot of my favorites here. Purple People Eater came out when I was pretty young and it was one of the first songs that dared to stray from the norm. I learned to do the Monster Mash when I was in the 6th grade in the school basement during recess. There’s just one that I looked for and didn’t find. Five Man Electrical Band’s – Werewolf.

Good article! It brings back a lot of old memories.

Very nice list of songs here Lanne. Thriller would have to be at the top of my list also. Well done.

I don`t know how I forgot that one. I was going for lucky 13. The werewolf song by The Five Man Electrical Band would have been better than some of these.

I loved thriller from the time it first came out and that’s been quiet a few years ago. Micheal was a talented young man. Great job, take care. Ruby

You have one of my favorite all-time songs, Psycho Killer! I saw David Byrne in concert in Seattle, best show ever. Great article!

Entertaining article, Lanne. I was just singing the Flying Purple People Eater song on my commute the other day. Some songs from childhood seems to stick with you for a long, long time.

    God Bless,

    Nelson Doyle
