Halloween Party Ideas for Kids on How to Make a Haunted House

Here I am going to share some ideas as how to make a hauted house for your kids and their friends.

Does  your kid look forward to Halloween? Is it their favorite Holiday, but one holiday under Christmas =)

Do you desire to have a party for your kids and their friends?

First of all you can have a haunted  house. When you have a haunted house you can either have an overall theme such as skeletons or make each room something different.

There is one caveat in that you might have to make it not too frightening if you are inviting your best Friend’s kids and they get scared easily. Think of others who are more afraid than you. If you know everybody you are inviting have no problem with having a scare, then by all means follow some of my ideas and you can add anything you can possibly think of to make it scary.

You can turn one room in your  home into an autopsy room. No, you aren’t actually going to form an autopsy, at least I hope not =) With this idea you can stuff up a pair of clothes and completely cover that pseudo-body should be covered with a sheet with a red stain to represent blood. Here you can ask the kids if they want to feel the dead person’s guts they stick their hands in and feel Jell-O

or feel eyeballs which is peeled grapes or feel the brain which is cold noodles.

These should all be under the sheets so the kids do not know the reality of what these disgusting things they touched.

You can’t have a Halloween without Dracula showing up. You can give Dracula his own room in your home. To make it authentic get cardboard or wood and build a coffin that is black painted.

Recruit somebody to play Dracula with an an extremely white pallor and then you put fangs in his coffin pretending they are his and he took them out for his slumber.

Give kids a chance to see him and tell them about a story when Dracula last woke up. You can ever have your Dracula get up if your guests aren’t that afraid of it happenig.

My sister had the best Halloween party years ago in her basement and we turned one of the rooms into a semi-scary room. the kids were so cute (she ran a Nursery) and the mothers had more fun than you’d imagine. A few thrills won’t hurt as long as they aren’t like the ones I took my son to at Navy Pier. But a few thrills are fun. Nice article.
