Happy Holidays
Why do all the stores say "Happy Holidays"?
Happy Holidays?
While shopping at the store as you leave you hear the cashier yell “Happy Holidays” as you walk around town you never hear “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Hanukkah” always happy holidays. As a Christian I would not be offended seeing “Happy Hanukkah” around or any other holiday. You see “Happy saint Patrick’s day” and “happy Easter” all over the place but never “Merry Christmas” most holiday songs say Christmas, and most movies do too. Why not stores and malls?
My Prediction
This doesn’t effect me at all, I’m not offended there is no “Merry Christmas” only surprised. Stores are probably just afraid to offend other religions.
