Happy Memorial Day

Memorial Day isn’t just a pleasant day off of work and time to start celebrating the unofficial start of Summer. It’s about remembering those men and women who have given their lives in the line of service.  So, along with all of our outdoor grilling, days at the lake, and just general enjoying the day off, let’s take a moment or two to thank our veterans and service men and women for the freedom we all enjoy.

This Memorial Day, don’t forget:

• A national moment of remembrance takes place at 3 p.m. Eastern Time
• Fly your flag of the United States of America. If at all possible, fly your flag at half-staff from dawn until noon local time.
• If you see someone in a uniform, tell them thank you. If they’re a friend or relative, give them an extra hug while you’re at it.

If it wasn’t for our brave service men and women, we wouldn’t have Memorial Day or any other national holiday.
