Happy Thanksgiving: Keep the Good News Coming!

Things to be thankful for in our crazy world.

I am so happy to see the gas prices finally dropping lower and lower every day. Shwhoo! There for a while I was starting to get scared. Scared that we would either run out of fuel in one crisis or maybe not be able to afford it in another. I really didn’t think I would live to see the prices this low again. I am so thankful for this one bright spot in this brewing storm we call the American economy. Thank you, universe, for hearing our cries for relief.

“Yes, we can!”

Those words give me hope as to our new president elect Barrack Obama. I will admit he was not always my first pick for the presidency. Fortunately, I did some research and I quickly saw his vision for our country. We definitely need a change in our country. Let’s pray he is the right change for us. I do feel he will be a better fit than what we have currently in office. My big issues are the troops and helping working class America. Let’s bring them home. It’s time to bring them home. And remember without the working class our country doesn’t run for the privileged.

There may be a new stimulus check coming to your mailbox soon. I’m not certain how this will happen as to our outrageous deficit, but it would be nice to have a little money to spend for a change. The last check was used to catch up on some past due bills. I’m sure most of working class America did the same exact thing. So mail “em out guys, we would appreciate and love it!

According to the sales at the box office lately, I would say that we are doing one thing, seeing new movies. Whether on a date or out with friends, we have fallen in love with the big screen all over again. Most people have given up hanging out on the weekends at the local mall and opted to cozy up in a dark theater somewhere. It”s about time we started to enjoy life again. Go, us! Maybe we can help the economy by re-learning how to entertain ourselves.

No matter what the issues are that we have going on in our world or in our lives, for that matter, we should always be thankful for the positive things we do have. The more we focus on the positive things, the more positive things we can create in the universe. It’s a new day and age and I think we should leave our old mindset of pessimisms, behind. January 20th 2009 will be the beginning of our new history, let’s make it the best we can possibly make it. Let’s unite as a nation and spread the feeling of positive power throughout the world. We are only here for a short time and let’s leave a lasting impression our future generations and we can be proud of.

Happy Thanksgiving 2008
