Have a Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.  I know everyone has different Thanksgiving traditions, however to me Thanksgiving is mostly about family.

As a rule, my kids and I watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.  Then we go to a family member’s home for dinner. Usually alternating from year to year.

I want to take a moment to think of those without family, or homes.  Also those in nursing homes. My mom is one of the ones in a nursing home. This is the first year she will not be able to celebrate this holiday with us.Of course, we will visit her, but it is not the same.

Normally Thanksgiving is my favorite holidays.  You have a chance to think of things to be grateful for.
