Don’t worry if you can’t give your beloved a big luxurious Valentine’s Day! There are several low cost ways of showing your love! You can definitely create a romantic mood without the big bucks!

You don’t have to cheapen your love for this Valentine’s Day 2009. You can still have a lovely romantic day for less without ruining the mood. It’s easy and fun.

!) Cook it yourself. Yes this is the tried and true ultimate valentine’s show of affection but it works. You don’t have to spend a lot to create an appreciated meal for two. Besides it’s always fun cooking together and creating each other’s favorite dishes. Save room for a homemade dessert too.

Make it yourself. There are a ton of things you can make from chocolates to cookies to knickknacks. There’s nothing that says love like a box of homemade cupcakes or cookies with your name son them. Also if you have a talent for wood work or jewelry making then use it to create unique one of a kind gifts.
Your in home romantic weekend. Pack up the kids and send them to the grandparents. Along the way disconnect every intrusive electronic device and just enjoy a romantic weekend discovering each other. Take long walks , go to the movies, even grab a pizza together . As long as it’s just you two you can enjoy two days of indulging on yourselves.
At home spa treatments. You and your love can give each other back rubs and salt scrubs. It’s easy to recreate expensive spa therapies by using just regular salt, honey, oatmeal and a variety of oils. You’ll not only enjoy the TLC but also the way your skin feels afterwards.
Get away for less. You can book a romantic Caribbean or ski getaway for practically pennies. Thanks to no business, travel agents are practically giving away weekends to the Bahamas or Aspen. Now is the time to start looking and start booking. Also your local hotels usually have a romantic Valentine’s weekend package for as low as $40. a night.
Role reversal. Maybe the best Valentine’s Day gift of all is a clean house or a day spent on the couch. Do each other’s chores for the day, You can spend time shopping for sexy lingerie while he vacuums and he can watch the game while you get the car washed or go out for the cleaning. Since Valentine’s Day is on a Saturday you can do his chores on that day while he does yours on Sunday.
