Helping Out for Christmas

I remember the two times I was in the sheleter for Christmas. I was a single mother of my one daughter. I was put in the shelter because I could not afford my rent. My e would not help me without something in return. Somthing I was not willing to give anymore. You can think of it right. I felt out of place and like a disappointment to my child. I was out of a home and somethine we called our own. she was only three at the time. We were put in west help greenburg. It was just wonderful there. 

We had our own kitchen living room and bathroom. The place was beautiful too. you can search it online before they close it down. It is in Ny.. We were able to go to a big room call shop and stop to pick out free everything. Like house stuff and even clothes for anyone. I met my very best friend there as well. She killed herself so we are not together these days. During Christmas they would bring us everything from toys to food,even clothing all new. It was all donated by people wo cared about us being homeless. I wish I could help out somehow this year. 

I thnk we should all do our best to help someone. Even if it is just a lonely neighbor on our street. Happy Holiday’s to you..
