How to be Safe in Halloween
This guide will show you how to have a safe and fun Halloween.
A kid’s favourite holidays are probably Halloween. But it is not always safe on a Halloween night, now that doesn’t mean that it is way too dangerous to trick-or-treat at all, it just means you have to be a bit cautious when trick-or-treating with kids.
First, the costume. Make sure the costume is not too long or your child might trip and all. Facepaint is probably better than a mask because children might not be able to see through the eye-holes of a mask. Also check the tag of the costume before buying it just in case your child is alergic to any of the materials in the costume.
Next, trick-or-treating time! Now your child is ready and dressed up for Halloween, don’t forget the trick-or-treating bag. You can choose to trick-or-treat in a mall and or in neighberhoods. The mall is pretty safe but most of the stores won’t want to give away their merchandaise and it isn’t as fun because its so easy and there is no doorbells to ring, but if you want your child to be extra safe, the malls for you. In the neigborhoods, it’s pretty dark so make sure to bring a flashlight so you can see. Put some reflective tape on your child’s costume so when crossing the street, cars can see you.
Now, the candy. The candy is usually safe but some people tend to poisen them, I don’t know why. To insure your child’s candy is safe to eat, take out any candies that your child is allergic to, example: peanuts. Throw out anything that is unwrapped or homemade. Some people try to hide the poisen by putting a fake brandname wrapping on the candy, so if you are unsure if the candy is real or not, search the internet for it, if you can’t find it, it’s fake and ust be thrown out.
I think thats all the information you and your child should know to have a safe Halloween.
Have a happy, fun, and safe Halloween!
