How to Enjoy Valentine’s Day Even When You are Single
You do not have to miss out on Valentine’s Day just because you have no partner to share the day with. There are many ways for singles to enjoy the holiday. Here are five ways to help make Valentine’s Day more special for you.
1) Invite a single friend or two out for an evening of shopping, dinner and a movie.
2) If you would rather avoid the crowds, invite your single friends over to your house for a movie and popcorn.
3) Host your own small Valentine’s Day party and invite your single friends to it. Keep it simple by serving cupcakes and fruit punch. For entertainment, enjoy a fun game of Valentine Bingo.
4) Take flowers or candy and a Valentine card to an elderly person in your neighborhood who will be spending the holiday alone.
5) If you would rather stay home alone on Valentine’s Day, pamper yourself with a cleansing facial and a soothing bubble bath. Afterwards, relax with your favorite novel or TV show.

I wrote a similar article where I suggested similar activities (http://www.socyberty.com/Holidays/Five-Positive-Ways-to-Spend-Valentines-Day-If-Youre-Single-or-Recently-Broken-Up.517135).
Above all, I agree with you about being positive about this day no matter what’s your marital status.
