How to Get The Most Candy on Halloween
Here’s some informationon how to get the most Halloween candy on Halloween, and only if you want it the most. I feature some awesome tips, hints and tricks for getting candy here too.
Costumes
Try to be original with your costume. You can get glow in the dark nail polish from some places like the grocery store. Making your own costumes is good if you can’t get the kind you want, or you can do something like gather up a bunch of random items from thrifty places and on the internet, andin Halloween stores. Make up is much better than a mask if you plan on being realistic about all the stuff, like looking as if you are in Rated-R movie. But you may want to look cute, if you are a girl or small boy and want people to just give you anything, as if an adorable baby who is bored with it’s toys. If you are older, like 12, and dress as something scary then you are going to end up with a SCREAM from people if you plan to dress up with a plastic knife in your head. But that doesn’t mean that you are too old. If you look a lot like your little sister or older brother you could go as something similar and you are sure to get a lot more candy. Try to be original, such as funny. Last year my two younger sisters dressed as hot dogs and ended up with a lot of popularity. Don’t wear your costume too much before Halloween because you will look dirty and dingy when it comes around, as if you are only trick or treating to sell your earnings or to eat with your family for a few nights.
Try to get a really good costume, like save up all month ffor a really good costume and extra parts. Try not to consider other people and how they can’t get as awesome of a costume because that causes you to get a costume that’s even plainer. Get a bunch of cool parts and a traditional part for your body. Then you will find that you choose how your costume looks rather than the contents of the bag it would come in.
Something that I faced when I lived up north is the cold factor. Little kids would whine about wearing stuff underneath their costume, even shoes when there were little flaps to protect them. Try finding something that is dark underneath, like a black or purple undershirt. A lot of people wear stuff like short midriff tops, and the best thing to do is to try avoiding them. Usually the most creative costumes avoid this anyways.
