For this you need yards of led lights. Led lights are “Light emitting diodes” which do not consume a lot of electricity but give off a lot of light. They are not very expensive to begin with and can be reused again and again for various occasions.
Here are some ways in which you can decorate your house’s interiors and exteriors by using only strips of Christmas lights.
You can use Christmas lights to decorate your Christmas tree. It is a great way to highlight the tree in your living room. You can use plain white bulbs and interject it with red, green and blue lights.
Decorate the exterior of your house. If you have a garden then wrap some of the Christmas party lights around some shrubs and bushes. You can also wrap them around the trunk of a tree if you have one in your yard. Putting a yard of lights on your fence and gate is also a great idea.
If you don’t have a garden to decorate, then no worries! You can decorate your front door with lights. Either make a design pattern with it or simply curve it around the door frame in the form of an arch-way.
Inside you house, you can use the lights to highlight certain features of your house other than the Christmas tree. Features like windows, fireplaces and mantle, the and corners of all walls can be brought to life by decorating it with a yard of led lights.
One very innovative way of decorating the interiors with lights is to cover the entire ceiling with Christmas lights. You just need some well placed hooks and a double sided tape to wind the Christmas lights back and forth the ceiling to create an illusion of a starry sky.
Another way to use led lights to full effect during Christmas is to make a wall design with the lights.
