So once again it’s October and Halloween is on the way! As we’re Pagan in our household it’s a really big affair for us and as such I understand how important it is when you want that perfect costume. I also understand why people take weeks to decide what they want to wear and then make it. Here are some suggestions to help get you started.

Vampire

The classic vampire costume is a pretty simple suggestion-if you’re a guy. If you’re a girl then it’ll get a lot more complex but I love seeing vampires on Halloween, they’re so timeless in the Halloween scene.

Witch

Similarly to the vampire, the witch will always be a classic of Halloween but why not make it a Halloween with a twist and make yourself Glenda the good witch this year?

Black cat

This has the potential to make a very sexy costume indeed. Slip on a cat suit and bang! Sex icon of the evening. Either way I think the black cat costume is a great costume.

Living dead doll

Have you ever seen those Gothic little dolls that you can buy in various shops? They’re called living dead dolls and boy are they fun to replicate. Plus, they’re also really easy! The majority of the work is your hair and make-up, generally using what you already have! Cover a few net curtains in some watered-down boot polish and away you go! You could even turn that into…

The corpse bride

Simply by dying a few net curtains black and shaping them however you choose, adding some white face powder and black circles under your eyes you become the corpse bride! You could add sexy twists to the outfit or go for the complete scary ghoulish look.

A ghost

This is probably the simplest outfit you could ever make in your entire lifetime, yet I always find it charming when there are tons of little kids running around in ghoul outfits!

A Movie character

I love to take ideas from movies and there are so many great horrors out there that it doesn’t have to be hard to find one you like. From Freddy Kruger to the pumpkin king, there is plenty to get you started!
