Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkins for Your Yard and Porch: Creative and Artsy
Halloween is coming and your little goblins can expect to see some really cool jack-o-lantern to frighten and delight them. Enjoy these selections. Have a fun and safe Halloween…
Grinnin’ at Ya!

Big teeth and googly eyes make for a scary sentinel. I like this design style and always forget to peel the rind of the pumpkin to reveal the toothy pulp of the pumpkin. This would look great on a table next to Halloween treats and a large bowl of apple cider punch. You are still left to wonder however, do you eat the pumpkin or does the pumpkin eat you?
Basic Jack-O-Lantern

A bit more traditional and certainly playful, this silly grin is good for the little ones that will come begging at your door this weekend. Make their night memorable and dress-up your jack-o-lantern with a silly grin.
They are Everywhere!

A little something to look at as you are walking to the haunted house or through the cemetery… be careful where you step!
Zombies in the Night

For the older crowd, some illusion and allusion to demons and zombies wandering through Hades. The flickering of candlelight behind these silhouettes make for a deeply disturbing and frightful atmosphere. The doorway to Hades has been opened…
Intricate Pumpkin Art

Reminiscent of a Mayan calendar, this nouveau artsy design is very nice. Worried about year 2012 prophesies and the end of things? Show your respect to the Mayan gods and tread lightly around this delicate Cucurbita decoration.
Darth Vader Pumpkin

Even more popular than that son-of-a-Sith Luke, the ever popular Darth Vader waits for young Jedi to come begging for candy and finds your lack of faith disturbing.
Face And Lisa Simpson’s Cat?

These are great! I love the one on the right, -it looks like Lisa Simpson’s cat ‘Snowball.’ Although there have been five Lisa Simpson cats named “Snowball” and of various colors, the current one (#5) is styled to look like the #2 Snowball in order to prevent confusion. Gee …reminds me of one of my sister’s cat “Honey.” She had four or five cats (one at a time) whose name was “Honey.”
Battlestar: Galactica Cylon-O-Lantern

The original Battlestar: Galactica TV series for the 1970s had these cybernetic robots called “Cylons” which, despite being far less scary than the modern remade series, these were still by far more cool. This one has a roving red dot for an eye, -just like the classic Cylons. That was pretty intimidating for its time. It was pretty innovative though in the remake series that the Cylon vessels themselves were ‘alive.’
For When that Mac Attack Hits

You have got to be very hungry to eat one of these! This has got to be one of the most creative jack-o-lantern derivatives that I have ever seen! I love that the pumpkin seeds are placed to resemble sesame seeds on the upper bun. Brilliant!
Dangerous when Hungry

This is very neat! I have to try this! Could you imagine having a candle on inside of both of these? I mean, -not in the yard with those flammable leaves of course, but up on the porch or in your bay window?
Simple Can Be Great!

For those who hate clowns, get loads of this one. I like the sliced olives for eyeball pupils.

Great, Stick. Loved the ‘W’ bit.

I absolutely LOVE these! Totally in the Halloweeny spirit of things and these are just so peculiar, it is cool! I think my favourite one would probably be either the Darth Vader one or the Lisa Simpson’s cat one. I love the intricacy of some of the designs here! A brilliant collection…

I like those Jack-O-lantern pumpkins, particularly the first one. They are ideal things to decorate the house. The way how they were crafted was creative and unique. Maybe someone should held a contest on this lantern. Well done piece, my friend! Thanks.
