List of Christmas Carols on Guitar
A great list of Christmas carols/songs for you to learn and play on your guitar!
Introduction
Last year at this time I thought it would be really nice to learn to play some Christmas songs/carols on the guitar. Both chords for songs but also tabs for them. I never really found anything because I got a very busy December; buying presents and doing my homework, school reports and essays. But this year I’m in good time and I’ve already learned a lot of songs including Jingle Bells and many others, including some Danish Christmas songs (since I’m from Denmark). I really want to share some of the great websites I’ve come across with people who’re searching for the same and this is what I’m going to do in this article! I hope you find what you’re looking for in my links to the very helpful websites, friends.

Frosty the snowman,
God rest ye,
Good king wenslesas,

Greensleeves,
Happy Xmas,

Have yourself a merry Xmas,
Here comes Santa Claus,
Holy jolly Christmas,
I saw mommy kissing Santa,

I know how it feels!
I’ve only been playing for hmm… 2 or 2½ years. I think it’s important to WANT it. You gotta have fun with it. Even though some people will consider me a beginner from the time I’ve played, I’m sure they won’t when they hear me
Good new years resolution, friend.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
Best wishes,

This is very interesting. If you will bring the guitar, I will sing the songs and Triond friends can dance along.

I love those songs. I’m glad to know that you are a guitar enthusiast. I am too, but sad to say that I’m not good at it. I have a guitar, but now it gathers dust because I’m preoccupied with my passion lately- writing.

Very good information for us guitar players. I will save this and see how many of these songs I can learn before Christmas.

Fantastic, I just wish I could play or hear notes.
My husband loved the article and list. He is the guitar player in the house. ( 5 guitars, 1 electric and even a banjo)

This brings back memories. I played the guitar for over forty years and had so much pleasure from it, especially at Christmas and with my pupils in school, but unfortunately arthritis has made my fingers to stiff to play the chords now. Thank you for a trip down memory lane.

Leo: Thanks a lot
N. Sun: That’s right! It’s almost December!
I love Christmas.
Aurora: Oh well, that doesn’t matter. I think clarinet can sound really good. One of my old friends plays it
(I remember she played harry potter in a orchestra and it sounded spectacular)
Margaridab: Oh I’m sorry to hear that friend.. Everyone’s got talent in something – One just have to find out what they’re good at. 3 years ago I would’ve laughed you in the face if you came and told me to start playing music. But I learned it and I like it today.
Mr. Reggie: Thank you very much Reggie.
Bloom Again: That’s right, it’s really nice and cozy to sing christmas carols in December. especially now that the snow has fallen. (At least in Denmark).
Lapasan: I agree with you
These are good songs. I really love playing guitar and I want to get a secondary job in a band when I get older. I like writing too and I do it pretty often. But there’s also school and I’m really busy with my essays and reports these days. However, there’s always time to play the guitar.
Carlangas atc: Thanks Carlangas.
Psingh: Thank you!
LowellHenderson: Cool, I’m glad you could use it! Your name sounds like a guitar-star’s name, haha. (the Henderson-part)
Strategy03: Thanks a lot dear.
Fishfry: I’m glad you and your husband liked the list. I really appreciate that!
Wow that’s a lot of guitars. I’ve got 4. 2 Spanish, 1 electric and 1 western.
Papaleng: Thanks a lot. That would be great
I hope he likes it.
Lilsept: That’s right
You too! (even though it’s not yet) I can’t wait!
Kaye: hehe. Go get it girl!
Albert: Thanks a lot.
Christine. Oh, I’m sorry to hear that but it sounds like you’ve had a really wonderful time because of your ability to play the guitar
I’m glad you remembered some good memories when reading this
Thanks to all of you. I really liked all your comments!
Best winter wishes,
BluSphere

Haha alright
I think violin and guitar would be great together in a song. Have you tried it with singing also or something like that?
Best regards,
