Love Me, Love Me Not

A spirit of Valentine’s Day. Have you ever thought of who your sweetheart is?

How many sweet hearts can someone have? Well let’s see…

A husband, boyfriend and even a friend could be your sweetheart. A child, all your children, or a grandparent could be your sweetheart. Maybe your sweetheart could be a parent or a sibling.

There are many sweethearts in our lives. I think it depends on who you hold dearest in your heard. Everyone needs to know that you love them dearly. So if you are one of those folks out there that has a hard time saying “I Love you”, than Valentine’s Day is a good day for you. This day gives you the opportunity to say I love you without actually saying it out loud. You could give your sweetheart a card that helps you express yourself.

The simplest of things can make a difference. My father for instance does not know how to open up to me. I know he loves me but I wish he would show me more often. A simple hug or kiss on the forehead means millions in my heart, and he does do this now and again.

Not everyone knows how to open up and honestly I’m one of them. I find comfort in writing it down on paper rather than speaking my mind. So if you find that you have the same problem I recommend trying to write it down. You never know unless you try.

So this Valentine’s Day let the people you hold dear, know you love them in some form or another. It doesn’t have to be expensive or extravagant, just think simple and meaningful.
