Most Popular New Year’s Resolutions
At the beginning of each year, millions of people make promises to themselves to be better in some way. These New Year’s resolutions are widely varied and individual, but several vows always top the list. What resolutions did you make this year?
Lose Weight
The top New Year’s resolution of all time is to lose weight and get healthy. This promise encompasses things such as lowering cholesterol, getting more exercise, and shedding pesky pounds. After the gluttonous fun of the winter holidays, the new year gives people an opportunity to change their ways and habits.
Stop Smoking
Many people struggle with smoking cessation during the whole year, but New Years is a time when more people smash their cigarette packs and throw out the ashtrays. Not only is thise one of the most commonly made resolutions, it is also one of the quickest broken. Get help to quit smoking from help groups or your doctor and you will have a better chance.
Save More Money
Especially in these grim economic times, saving money, making more money, or investing more are the focus of many New Year’s resolutions. Some vow to increase retirement funds, while some just vow to give up their five dollar coffee drink every morning and put the money in a saving’s account instead.
Get Organized
Getting organized can cover a wide range of resolutions. Finding more time for hobbies or leisure activities is popular, although many people find that organizing time doesn’t increase it after all. With the purchase of new calendars, date and appointment books, and PDAs, the New Year starts a new wave of organization.
Reduce Stress
All the above resolutions can reduce stress, and it is a very good thing to vow to do. People can find many ways to reduce stress in their lives, and many do it in the New year.

I didn’t make any because i never keep them. I do want to lose a little weight and keep it off, and to be a better person that i was last year. Hope i can keep both of these.

I have made the top resolution to lose wait of course it just didnt seem to happen but Ive made other choics like:
1. Be a better person
2. Be nicer
3. Stay completely organized
4. Start writing letters to people instead of emails. Now I can say I wasn’t a big fan on emails nor letters but htis after i made that resolution i became more fond of emails so none of my resolutions made the cut
Thank you
