Up tp 40,000 party-goers are expected to ring in the New Year at the annual New Year’s Eve Party at Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls. The free event, boasting an impressive concert line up, is sure to be one of Niagara’s best New Year’s Eve events to date.

Concerts-The main attract at the New Year’s Eve Party in Niagara Falls is the free concerts and this year will not disappoint. Kicking off the event at 7:30 is newcomer Stephanie McIlroy followed by the Saskatoon band ‘The Sheep Dogs’, who recently graced the cover of Rolling Stones Magazine. Next up is awarding winning artist, Keshia Chante and then Our Lady Peace. The main act for the New Year’s Eve Party at the Falls for the 2011/2012 season will be the Montreal punk rock band ‘Simple Plan’.

Fireworks-As usual, there will be showstopping fireworks displays over Niagara Falls at 8:45 p.m. and again at midnight as the New Year is heralded in with the traditional ball drop from the Skylon Tower.
