One Last Time
by This song is about thinking about those that love you. I wrote the poem/ song after thinking about my grandma who was always there for me. I wrote this years before she passed away and I believe it shows all.
One Last Time
you were there when I was sick
you were there to hold my strength
you ordered me to not give up
you helped me see through the dark
now that your hurt, agonizing in pain
I can’t believe that you won’t be around
when I need you most
out here in the rain
one last time
tell me who I am
one last handshake
tell me your past
one last tear
tell me you won’t go
I want you near me forever
you were there in mid-summer light
playing traditional games
and taught a child how to be kind
helping you
when you’ve helped me learned
you know I’ll never rest
one last time

one last hand shake

I want your spirit with me forever
