Police Car Chase on Mothers Day

Well I am a Mother and a Law Abiding Citizen so I did a Police Ten seven and re-enactment of COPS in real life, that too on Mothers Day while making a fashion statement at a celebration dinner.

Introduction:

Well Mothers’ Day was over and done with a short while ago but a memory is still fresh in mind and it is kind of anecdotal too.

My Fashion:

Well see, I am a fan of designer clothes, so went to Cue (A Custom Australian Designer brand who has clothed the likes of Miss Universe in the past) and picked up a dress from their latest winter collection as I loved the design. It was something that I used to where as a child in checks and this time I managed to get it in total black with embossed metal buttons. What more could I ask for. Great Dress, Swanky Bling Knee length Boots (presented by my friend who just returned from her shopping  trip in China) and contoured detailed stockings, now that sounded like me. The REAL me that I had left behind years ago. So yes, I decided to dress up a little and take my family out to dinner to celebrate Mothers’ Day. Now it was my brother who came with his upbeat jalopy which contains speakers from my 12000 watt Sony stereo system (if anyones wondering why there is no music coming from my home, here is the reason, the speakers are in the car, no jokes!!!).

Runaway Husband!!!

You see the husband did a runner to greener pastures of Australia leaving the wedding ring behind, oh well, get on with life as they say, for the kids. Men are hunters women mind the kids they say (yea right!!! I am both mum and dad now, so yep, dangerous sort of shapeshifter don’t you think?? Considering a good friend calls me alien too).

Dress Me Please!!!

Any way, adorned in my new black dress with all the above accessories, I found it a little plain. So I went and picked up my gold plated zircon studded bouquet brooch from Swarovski and dressed it up a little and wore a Paddington Coat Factory Hooded jacket to add to the style and left to dine at Jade Dragon at Sky City, Auckland. Well my boy built me a house out of Lego and presented that to me for Mothers’ Day, so I loved my little gift.
