Police Car Chase on Mothers Day

Well I am a Mother and a Law Abiding Citizen so I did a Police Ten seven and re-enactment of COPS in real life, that too on Mothers Day while making a fashion statement at a celebration dinner.

Police: Did you see who was driving?? (Like hell I did, I was on the passengers side this is the drivers’ side tale.)

Me: No, he was too fast.

Police: Again, please outline what did he do.

Me: He just drove over some orange cones on the road and is driving as if he is on a suicide mission.

Police: Is he drunk?? (What?? in my Mind..)

Me: Well as per my knowledge he seems to be driving erratically, does seem a little high though. But not sure on what.

(Brother butting in what is she saying and I tell him to keep driving)

Police: Which way is he going??

Me: Well he is on the Northern Motorway towards Tristram Avenue. He is 200 metres ahead now and is cutting lanes too.

Police: Tail him and the officers are on their way.

Me: Okay.

Police: Where is he now??

Me: He has just past Tristram Avenue under the Bridge and now going towards Upper Harbour Highway. Hang on I see a Red Holden Commodore just pass us bearing ABC123.

Police: Thats one of us which way should they go??

Me: Carry on Straight, hang on the bloke has cut to the left.

Police: Where is he now??

Me: He is in front of the P.T. Cruiser. The officers have just flashed their lights at him. They are pulling up.

Police: Cool, now we need you and your brother to go and park out there and give your accounts to the officer.

Me: Will do.

Police: Thank you for your help.

Aftermath:

Now we parked the car, I was laughing uncontrollably as it was so hilarious. Anisha Achankunju in a Police Car chase, just five days earlier gets called Alien and Troll by some Cute Doctor and then by Stupid Rose and that sexual predator Jerry Atrixx, what more could I ask for. Life was perfect, fun and simple. Plus I got a pie for a $1.50 and my son made me a Lego House. Got it all going good for me.

The 93 year old Geriatric, about to expire!!!

Then an officer, goodlookingmight I add with glasses came up checked my brothers licence and then told the two of us, let him go, the poor guy is 93 and about to expire.

Whatever composure I had regained within me to talk to the cops disappeared and I cracked up again and the officer had to repeat the statement five times (he too laughing hilariously) and I laughed till I nearly cried. He also added, don’t worry we are escorting the 93 year old Geriatric back home so that he doesn’t cause anymore trouble with his Driving.

So off we went police car chase disbanded and we are on our way home AGAIN.

Where was Mikey??

Mikey??? He loves kids, he was busy teasing my boy!!! He told me he would have killed me with excessive laughter as any small thing made him laugh till he cried and he couldn’t stop laughing in a hurry. He was excused. thank god he didn’t drive, he is a litttttle tooooooooooo romantic and loves to hold hands and drive!!! Did that the other day and even the bicycle went faster!!!

Kids Talk

As my boy began advising me about things and finally told me,”Papa went away because you asked him to marry you, see i told you not to ask him to marry you.” Now Grandpa took over advising mum at the age of five and also told me if I ate too many Oreos your teeth will fall off. I just went yes Grandpa and that ended my Mothers’ Day Celebration.

The joy of being a parent is to listen to their side of the story and have a good laugh at their practicality. See, he goes by what he sees and I love humour (Mikey doesn’t doesn’t help either as he hops in to tease too). So yes, I have also had my son tell me,”Mama, you have to eat or you will become a skeleton!!!”. Alien to Skeleton??? Hell No!!! I would be kept in a Museum then, not kicking Stupid Rose for Fake Tongues!!!!

Joys of Being a Parent!!! Do you enjy being one?? I love every minute of it… If I were to describe the mind of a child, this song would say it all…

Happy Parenting One and All, they are your treasures, what they become as adults is in your hands. I am proud of who I am today and I credit my parents, grandparents and mentors for my being. It may not have been perfect but it made me who I am today.
