Program Idea for Mother’s Day

Creating a special program for mothers on mothers day can be a great and memorable experience that most mothers will never forget.

One celebration in a year to honor our mothers is not enough to make them feel special but if we can create a program that is truly memorable, they will never forget it and would treasure the event.

This program idea is applicable for school program church program or family gatherings were mothers and children are present.  Participants will be mothers and their kids.

1. Pick 20 participants and this will compose of 10 kids and 10 mothers. You can lessen the participants according to the number of people you have.

2. Let the participants sit opposite to each other. All mothers will sit on the left side and their kids on the right side. It would be interesting if they will be facing each other.

3. Give each participant a small white board or chalk board where they can write the answers to the questions you ask them. Provide each of them with pen or chalk  if they are using chalk board and eraser.

4. Ask questions pertaining to the mothers favorite food, favorite color, birthdays, mood, favorite game, favorite show, favorite dress, favorite drink, etc. Everything that you can think of about the mother’s whereabouts.

5. Ask the question one by one and let them answer the question. Every time they finish answering the question, let them show their answers  and try to check if the mother and her kid have the same answer. The mother and kid who got exactly the same answer got the points.

The mother and kid pair who got the most points will be the winner. This is also one way to create mother and kid bonding because this will help the child to remember what his/her mother’s favorite which he did not know. give it a try and you will really enjoy it so with the mothers around.
