Quick and Easy Handmade Valentine Card

This card is quick and easy if you want to give something with the handmade look without spending a lot of handmade time.

Due to it’s ease, this card is also a good one for children to make, as long as they’re using kid scissors, or being supervised by an adult if using sharp scissors. All it takes is two separate colored pieces of paper cut into rectangles with rounded tops. Slits are then cut into the bottom making three weavable strips. When those strips are woven together, the two rectangles quickly take the shape of a heart. The heart can then be glued to a blank card or simply used as a Valentine in itself. You can write on the back with permanent marker, just like any other Valentine card. If you’re a person who makes a lot of cards and you’re into recycled paper, check out www.clearbags.com. They sell standard 5×7 blank cards with matching envelopes, both of which are one-hundred percent recycled paper. I get all my cards and envelopes from there and I have always them to be very good quality.
