Tonight, November 29th 2011, on CBS, one of the holiday classics will air at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, that being Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Ever since its debut on CBS on 1964, Rudolph has been a staple of the Christmas season and it returns on Tuesday November 29th 2011 on CBS. As it was for the past 47 years, Rudolph is fun for the entire family.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer to Air November 29th 2011 on CBS
For 47 years, children from one to one hundred have watched Rudolph. For many it is a tradition each and every year to sit down and watch the episode. And while the special has been cut due to commercial considerations somewhat, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has rather retained a lot of the holiday magic. It is a timeless classic that has been enjoyed for many of generations. Ever since Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer had aired for the first time in 1964, it has been quite the holiday tradition.
The song which in many ways spawned the special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, has mandated countless remakes over the years, by pretty much every artist that has ever put out a Christmas CD. Indeed, we do in fact recall the most famous reindeer of all, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
And many will once again enjoy this holiday tradition of spending an hour with Rudolph each and every year, on CBS. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will be airing on November 29th 2011 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time this year in 2011 on CBS. For all of the kids both young and old and those who want to recapture the magic of youth, even for a short time, this will be one night that you want to clear your schedule for.
47 years of excellence was Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. A tradition which continues each and every year and one of the first things to remain constant on television, despite a few cuts being made to material to fit in more commercials. Got to pay the bills, I guess. For those who are unable to view this special on the first night, in recent years, CBS aired Rudolph a second time around Christmas week although that was not the case for many years.

I am still a huge fan of all the animated Christmas specials: Rudolph, Frosty, The Grinch, A Charlie Brown Christmas (my personal favorite), etc. Guess I’m just a kid at heart.

I believe I’ve seen Rudolf far too many times. I have watched the Xmas shows with children and grandchildren. I must have grown to be a wet blanket.
