Telling a Kid That The Easter Bunny Does Not Exist

    Just the other day my cousin who is nine years old came up to me and asked, “Is the easter bunny real?” i looked to my aunt not knowing what to say and toold me to tell him. Now keep in mind he asked if the easter bunny was real.After trying to gather myself for a few seconds i could see he knew what i was going to say. After a long talk with him on how the easter bunny was just a myth and could not be real. He asked me why we celebrate easter then? well that one caught me off gaurd. Thankfully my aunt stpped in and told him that we celebrate easter because we are happy that spring comes and brings new life to everything around us. After seeing him run off to play bascket ball i was so astounded at how well he took it. so here is my advice take it slow, explain, and most of all dont make them cry. You dont want to be the bully on your end.
