The idea for the widely known Thanksgiving started in 1621 when Native Americans

celebrated the nations survival of the first difficult winter. There was a three day feast as a celebration. Now a days Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated on the fourth thursday of November.

This is a holiday when friend and families tend to gather and express some gratitude towards god so they could have  fruit full year. But the main highlight of this holiday that people tend to know is the fact of what you are going to eat for dinner that night. 

There wouldn’t be thanksgiving without a large juicy seasoned turkey smack dab in the center of your gathering table. Its a tradition that been going on for years upon years by now that people even call this day by the name Turkey Day.

This day is also a great opportunity for everyone there because its a day of acknowledgement. Its also a good tim to settle scores with people peacefully and even have a good laugh about conflicts in times passed.

Many american tend to take advantage of this day to give gifts to people(usually food) to eat on that night. Even though many people have there own taste for foods this doesn’t stop people from occasionally giving out exotic looking foods.(among many other things people tend to make ham, honey ham, roast beef, etc………). Usually as a side there tends to be soft warm freshly made bread.
