The Five Most Remade Christmas Songs

I love Christmas. I love Christmas music especially. However, I have noticed one thing. The fact is that there are some music that has been pretty much sang by everyone. I have complied a list of five Christmas classics that have been pretty much remade to death. Pretty much if an artist makes a Christmas album, you’ll find at least one of these songs, maybe two, perhaps all of them in fact.

The Twelve Days of Christmas. This song is really one that has been sung over and over and over again. It is one of the most famous, so it would be one that would be played quite a lot. Plus its been given its spin offs like the Redneck Twelve Days of Christmas and the Twelve Pains of Christmas, among others. Still it is extremely overplayed regardless.

Jingle Bells. This song is on the list of something that everyone has heard. It would be hard not to, with the sheer number of remakes that they have made. A holiday classic, with some versions obviously much better than others.

Frosty the Snowman. It is hard to not have seen the holiday special at least once. However, even if someone had seen the holiday special, you would have at least heard the story, through the many variations of this song.

Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer. Again, this one is hard not to have seen and indeed it is pretty much tradition around these parts. If you have been living under a rock and you have heard the hundreds of remakes of this song about Rudolph.

And the number one Christmas song that has been remade is Santa Claus is Coming to Town. This song has been played numerous times by numerous people. It is one of the classics in Christmas, although it does get tiring after hearing about the fourth or fifth variation of it in the past hour on the radio.

All these songs are classics and they have been remade for good reason.
