The Grinch Who Saved Christmas
Just a Story with a twist.
One cold afternoon in Whoville, the Grinch was driving down the miniature road in his small little car listening to the radio. Christmas songs were playing, then a commercial break came on with an announcement saying that Christmas would be cancelled in Whoville due to the cold weather. Mr. Grinch quickly slammed on the brakes and made a U-Turn to head to the radio station from where he heard this awful news. Driving down the road at top speed, Mr. Grinch finally reach the radio station. The tingling inside his green body made him storm past the guards and through the door and into the only room that was being aired in. He yelled out on air as loud as he could, “IF ANYONE WANTS TO HELP ME SAVE CHRISTMAS, REPORT TO MY CAVE ON TOP OF MT. CRUMPET!”
Storming out of there with everybody watching him, he wondered how many people might show up. As he pulled up the mountain that his cave set on, he saw about a dozen people already standing there. After waiting about five more minutes to see if anyone else would show up, he introduced himself as the Grinch and asked everybody what their names were, and why they wanted to save Christmas.
The first one said, “Hello, my name is Jingle, and I want to save Christmas because it’s my favorite time of the year!”
The second – who looked just like the first one – said, “Hi’ya, my name is Jangle, I want to save Christmas because I love to see the look on kids faces when they get their presents.”
Next came a grumpy lookin’ feller, “I’m Heat Miser, you can call me Heat, I love to be here because if we all weren‘t, then the birthday of Jesus wouldn‘t be celebrated in Whoville!”
After that was a snowman that looked very familiar, “Hi! They called me Frosty the Snowman back in the day, but you can call me Frosty now. I’m going to save Christmas because I remember how it felt to get a present when I was a little one.”
Then came the fattest, but meanest looking one of the group. “My name is Burgermeister Meisterburger, and I’m here to learn some Christmas spirit.” He said in a grumpy old voice.
