The Simple Halloween Costume

In a a few weeks, you and your kids will be out wearing whatever gathering candy door to door. 

A child’s second favorite holiday (after Christmas) is usually Halloween. What could be better than getting free candy?! Of course, the only drawback is having to wear those itchy costumes. Here’s how to get by without wearing much of a costume:

• Wear a mask.
  • This is probably the least you could do to count as dressing up. Try getting one at your local Superstore, but if you can’t get there, try a dollar store. 
• Grab a hat
  • When I say this, I don’t mean grab your 59Fifty hat. I mean get a witch’s hat. You get get these at most dollar stores around this time
• Get a towel and make a cape
  • Ok, now your really pushing it. If you really don’t want to spring for that costume, but still want to get that free candy, make a cape. Bonus points if you can make a Superman logo and tape it to your chest.

So these aren’t the greatest costume ideas, but those of you who can’t buy a full $20 costume, it’s not as bad as you think.
