The Things About The Holiday Season
What do you think of the holiday season that is going on as we speak? I’ll tell you what I think and feel about it.
When your little and this time of the year comes around, what do you think of? Gifts. Oh the joy of getting toys and anything that you want. Teenage years are more about electronics. Cell phones, iPod’s, and computers are the teenagers favorite things. And adults, well adults don’t really get much because they are the ones out shopping for their kids. I can only imagine how much money is spent during the month of December alone on gifts. Probably more money than our country is in dept. It really makes me sad that some families don’t get to have a big Christmas like my family does. Some kids go to bed on the 24th to wake up on the 25th with no gifts from Santa. It might be because they don’t have the money or if they do have the money, the parents spend it on drugs or alcohol. Can you imagine being 6 years old and not having a Christmas? I would be devastated. That’s why I’ve learned to be grateful this time of year and any time. If I don’t get every single thing that I want, I don’t stress about it. Someone could give me something completely useless and I could hate it, but I would still thank them for it and be happy that someone thought about me and was willing to buy me anything. I hope you all enjoy your holiday and thanks for reading this(:
