Trick or Treat Safely
Trick Or Treat Safely.
The time is here, it’s Halloween! It’s that time of the year (31 October) of each year that kids and yes, even teenagers go trick or treating. There’s a few simple safety lines you should know before you trick or treat.
Safety:
1. Depending on your age, always stay with a few partners and/or a parent. This is for safety reasons.
2. NEVER, I repeat NEVER go trick or treating alone! This is VERY dangerous and you may get kidnapped, if you’re in a group of 4 (even if you’re only 7 years old) the home owner that opens the door won’t kidnap you.
3. Don’t wear a TOO long costume, you’re going to want to to walk without tripping over.
4. (If travelling at night) Only go to lit up houses, this is generally a “welcome” sign for trick or treats; Don’t go to houses that are dark or completely dark for safety reasons.
5. Bring a bottle of water with you because you will get tired and thirsty of walking, and don’t run, you may trip over. (as mentioned above)
Tips:
1. Wear very spooky masks and costumes as the home owner will freak out when they open the door, quite funny.
2. Don’t waste all your pocket money on a Halloween suit, and don’t buy a cheap one; What I’m saying is buy a decent looking mask (optional costume) for a decent price.
3.Not just for safety reasons but, going with a friend will make you feel happier and you’ll feel the spirit of Halloween.
I hope you enjoy Halloween trick or treating this year, hopefully me and my friend are going trick or treating together.
Happy Halloween!
