Typical Japanese Christmas

Have you ever been wondering how Japanese celebrate Christmas?? I have many Japanese friends and just read.

People in Japana do not believe in God. They have many gods and “jijis” = half-gods. The “Christmas god” the god of happiness is the most favourite God in Japan. Everybody loves him because the legend says that he saved a world from bad creatures “nenzingots” on 25 of December. His favourite food is “cicikaka” – poisonous fish. Japanese can eat only these fish on 25 of december and they must drink just rice drink made of rice and fish. They give presents too but due to American in the evening. They have to stay calm all day and do not say any world in foreign language becuase of bad ghosts from “outer” space. This tradition is important for all Japanese.
