Veterans Days is a nice day where we can all just think about all of the people who have fought for us. It gives us a day to reflect on all the amazing things they have done. Unfortunately I don’t think we respect Veterans and Veterans Day enough.
    I noticed that some school don’t give there students a day off from school. I think all the schools should give the students a day off for them to respect and thank veterans for what they have done for all of us.
    Veterans are always put down and don’t seem to always be looked up to. A lot of people think there just some old grouchy people but when you actually get time to learn about what they have done and get to possibly know one you don’t think there any of those things any more. They are just people that are heroes.
    I am very thankful for what Veterans have done for us and I think they having a day just for them is awesome. The only problem is that it is useless if we don’t actually take time to think about a Veteran and think about all they have done and sacrificed for us.
    Well overall I think it is nice for there to be a day set aside just for Veterans but we need to pay more respect to that day. For example ALL schools should be let off for that day. We just need to pay all of our respects to these people and truly appreciate what they have done for us.
