Veterinary medicine
The first school vet on the blog was founded in 1762 in France, in Lyon. In our country, the first lectures on veterinary medicine were taught in Transylvania since 1494. Courses Medical – Veterinary here were taught in medical-surgical school in Cluj and Sibiu in a hospital.

On 1 November 1864 to veterinary school was founded in November, the first college of its kind in the Balkans.Superior School of Veterinary Medicine was founded with the desire doctor Alexandru Davila, during the reign of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, who also signed the decree for its establishment. Veterinary School worked in the School of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest.
In 1864 a regulation was made and the School of Veterinary , which remained in force until 1872. Under these rules, the subjects were divided into six departments and studying every five years. The subjects studied were:
Natural sciences, physics, chemistry, pharmacology, botany.
Descriptive anatomy, physiology, outside pets.
Anatomy and pathology of the feet, potcovitului art.
Pathology, general pathology, clinical internal.
Surgical pathology, veterinary surgery, veterinary clinic.
Hygiene, sanitary police, and morbele epizootic diseases, forensic medicine.
Veterinary medicine
If we mention some representative personalities when it comes to veterinary medicine, we can not leave it on Louis Vincent.
