Sounds like you have a lot of fun! As a Wiccan, my Halloweens (Samhains) are pretty important, but after the ritual, I dress up and hand out candy. It’s usually pretty tame, lol. This year I’m dressing up as Sarah Palin!! Lol

In UK it was never celebrated when I was a child, they do it more now,however I always celebrated the day as it is my birthday!!! last year I held my first ever fancy dress party here in Cyprus, it was so much fun and the expat friends are coming again this year to start a tradition with me, great fun, I am going to go with a few of your ideas Thanks

I love traditions when it comes to being with the family. We also do the “You’ve been Booed.” Plus my two older daughters love to pick out their costumes, and we make printouts to color and hang all over the house. I think by establishing these little traditions with the family, it keeps you guys tighter.

Our neighborhood has been doing the “booing” thing for a couple of years. My kids really love picking out the neighbor to receive the gift and then sneaking to their house and leaving the gift. It’s become one of their favorite parts of Halloween.
