What is The Best Christmas Tree Topper?

A Christmas tree topper is the most important part of the Christmas tree. Traditionally a star is on top of the tree to symbolize the star that shown the wise men which way to go to find Jesus. The meaning of the Christmas star makes the Christmas tree star my first choice for my Christmas tree.

Christmas stars come in many unique shapes and colors. The most amazing Christmas tree star I have even seen was made over thirty years ago. The star was a five point star made of plastic. The plastic was gold in color. In the middle of the star was a hallow hole that was filled with a plastic clear ball. Inside of the ball was a light cover with a cylinder material with stars on it. When the star was plugged in the cylinder would go around slowly in a circle. The light would shows different colored stars on the ceiling and walls.

As a child I would be amazed watching the different color lights off the tree and the star. The symbol of the Christmas star and the beautiful display is the reason for the Christmas star being my favorite tree topper.

Angels also have a great meaning. Angels have been long known as the messenger from god. They are made in all different sizes and shapes. Many are made with wings that can light up and change colors. Seeing an angel sparkle on the top of a Christmas can really help to set off a wonderful Christmas display.

I remember seeing one amazing Angel for a tree topper. The Angel was a woman in a beautiful gown and an amazing wing span. The gown and the wings were light brightly in different colors. The colors would gradually change as the angel played Christmas tunes.

There is also Santa Claus Christmas tree toppers. Santa Claus is a nice topper to bring a cute fun and child type atmosphere. It is an amazing display to see all the different types of Santas that are made. Many countries have a completely different version of what Santa looks like. Here in America, we think of Santa as a jolly and plump old man with rosy red cheeks.

The best Christmas tree topper depends on personal taste. A collector or a person who loves angels or Santa figures will prefer them over the Christmas tree star. In my heart the star still belongs on the top of a Christmas tree.
