What’s the True Meaning of Christmas
Do we really talk to our children about the true meaning of Christmas?
Christmas is the most beautiful holiday that I’ve ever known. We should also remember the true meaning of Christmas, as well as talking to our children, telling them the true story about christmas. There isn’t anything wrong with giving or receiving presents on this beautiful day and even sitting at the table with the ones you love and sharing a wonderful dinner. I think this is the best time to have all the children to come and sit around and they all hear of the beauitful story about the day Jesus Christ was born. We have to let our children know that Christmas is more than just gifts and toys and food, but the true meaning is thanking Jesus for allowing us to be here and thanking him for believieng in us and that is the best gift of all!

I loved this! I tried to capture the same essence in my article, “Top 10 Ways to Make This the Most Stressful Christmas Ever” (read all the way to the end). Anyway, I like your poem!

Christmas is actually not the day Jesus was born.
It it uncertain when exactly Jesus was born, it is celebrated on December the 25th because of the pagan festival of Saturnalia, which comes at the time of the winter equinox.
