When to Start Making Holiday Products
As soon as you can.
If you are a craftier and you just decided to start selling your product you may want to know when to start making stuff for holidays. You may think you have time to find out you don’t have a lot of it.
You should start making Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas stuff in the summer. If you are like me you will be working on everything at one time. If you are unlike me you may have a plan of when to start making stuff.
Doing the winter holidays you should start on making stuff for the spring holidays and vise versa. This helps you to have time to make what you want and if needed more.
Holidays are a funny thing. Sometimes you need so much more then you think. Sometimes you need less. That is the way business is. Sometimes it’s up and sometimes it’s down.
You should have already be finished making stuff for Halloween and Thanksgiving and started on Christmas. Live doesn’t work that way and you may find you are still working on Halloween stuff. That’s ok. Keep working at your own pace.
You may find you have stuff left over. I put mine in a big plastic tote and keep it for the next year. That way I already have a jump on the next years stock. If you mark the tote to the holiday you can add to it through out the year. The more you have the better anyway.
