Where Do The Richest One Percent of People Live?

It only takes $34,000/year, after taxes to be among the richest 1% in the world. As of the most recent data obtained in 2005 about 29 million of these people live in the US. This article puts into perspective the idea of a rapidly growing global middle class. The true global middle class falls short of owning a home, having a car, saving for retirement. The true global middle class is defined as living on $1,222/year.
Police are sent to let 5 yr old girl know she had overdue books due at the library. Apparently these books were overdue for several months and instead of the library sending a notice about the books they decided to scare the young girl by sending the police to her home to ask about the books and let her know that she needed to return the books or purchase them from the library. I think this is going overboard. What do you think?
