Why People Make Promises They Cannot and Won’t Keep?

A man should not have to pretend to be someone he is not in order to get a woman to be with him. The female will eventually deduce that you are a fraud.  The paradox of such relationships is that the very claims and statements the liar made to cement the relationship will be the ones to disintegrate it.  

It should tell the female that this person has a low opinion of their true self worth and of your values.  A man who thinks he has to lie about his wealth status to get a woman may think that you have relationship with men because of their perceived affluence.  But do not tell a woman that you can do this and you can do that when you are well aware of your inadequacies. I cannot see the relevance of lying about your status in life since you set yourself up for an inevitable disgrace and downfall. If you tell someone that you are a CEO, people are going to expect the behavior of a CEO including your ability to carry out certain functions. People will associate with you because of your false self, the minute the person realizes that you deceived him/her, they will excommunicate you. Women will date you because they think you are a CEO, the minute they deduce that you are not who you say you are, they will abandoned you.  It is far easier and cheaper to be yourself than to pretend to be someone else.

I believe honesty is the best policy. I rather honesty than making big claims that will not be supported by my actions.  I prefer if a person tells me the truth or rather does not make a fool of themselves by making promises they can’t and will not be able to keep.  The best way to reason if you think someone is pretending to be someone they are not is to weigh how much their claims support their actions.  Talk is cheap. Look if that persons claims backs up his action and his behavior.
